We require a dedicated Global Freight and Shipping Coordinator to join our professional team so we will continue to provide an outstanding reputation for innovation, quality, performance and reliability.
We are now seeking a highly experienced Global Freight & Shipping Co-coordinator to join the Logistics team. Duties include:
• Global Freight Rate analysis, forecasting and administration
• Consignment tracking and KPI reporting
• New carrier introduction supervision
• Liaison with internal and external customers
• Coordinate and lead reviews and meetings
• Lead and participate in improvement initiatives and projects
• Provide consistent support to global manufacturing and distribution sites
The Freight & Shipping Coordinator should ideally be educated to Degree level or equivalent and ideally also have exposure to Six Sigma. You should also have demonstrable experience in international shipping, in both export and import and be able to support manufacturing and distribution facilities in approximately ten countries. All applicants should also be PC literate, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint and have demonstrable analytical and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to demonstrate a desire to progress and succeed, be able to work as part of a team and work both independently and show you work well as part of a team.
